Applications for submissions will be accepted between December 1, 2017, and February 16, 2018. Each artist may enter up to three pieces, at a cost of $20 per submission. Payments will be taken via credit card as part of the submission process in the online system.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to women 18 and older currently residing in Utah. All original works in all media, with the exception of video and installation, are eligible. They must have been completed within the last two years.
Categories: Student, Amateur, Mature Amateur (over 50), and Professional.
All two-dimensional work must be framed and ready to hang with wire and D-Hooks. No saw tooth hangers will be accepted. AAUW of Utah reserves the right to refuse any artwork that is unready or improperly framed or 3-dimensional work that cannot be safely exhibited.
AWARDS AND FUNDING: The previous exhibition presented approximately $9,400 in cash awards.to 15 artists. Funding was provided by AAUW of Utah Women Artists Trust, AAUW of Utah members and friends of AAUW, Utah Division of Arts and Museums, and Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts, and Parks (ZAP)

By entering your works into the Utah Women Artists Exhibition you grant AAUW of Utah one-time permission to reproduce work(s) accepted into the exhibition for printed exhibition promotional materials. One-time, non-exclusive rights are also granted to reproduce the above-mentioned work(s) on AAUW of Utah and the UCCC websites which will remain online in-perpetuity.
1. Begin the process by clicking on the green "Register" button at the top right of this page.
2. The first page that you will see will be the User Profile, where you will enter your basic information, including a user id and password that you will use whenever you need to log in and continue the process. Once that is complete, you need to Login using the blue button on the far right of the top of the screen. You will also receive an email confirming your registration that includes a link back to this site.
3. Third step is the Submissions Page, which you will see whenever you log in. This is where you will enter the details about your art work and upload a picture of it. The maximum size is 4 meg and the suggested resolution is 72. The video below includes more information about the submission process. It also ends with a link to another video, which will show how tor resize images. However, before you begin the submission process, there will be a button for making the payment of the entry fee. You will be asked how many submissions you have and be charged $20 for each one, which you will pay with a credit card.
4. You can go back anytime before the deadline of February 16, 2018, to change your submission information. It is also possible to edit your User Profile by clicking on the button with your name on it at the top right of the screen.
Be sure to review the "Terms and Conditions," link at the bottom of the screen before submitting any work.
